USPAP Compliant Aircraft Appraisals

All Turbine-powered aircraft appraisals are compliant with the latest USPAP rules of engagement. The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) was established to promote and maintain a high level of public trust by creating requirements for aircraft appraisers.

The Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) of the Appraisal Foundation develops, publishes, interprets, and amends the USPAP on behalf of appraisers and users of appraisal services. USPAP calls for the highest standards of professional ethics. USPAP-compliant appraisals must be conducted by a qualified appraiser who has specialized knowledge, understanding, and has completed the stringent USPAP intensive course work while displaying proficiency.

Standards 7 and 8 establish strict requirements for the appraiser to develop and communicate their analyses, opinions, and conclusions to the intended users of their services in a meaningful and non-misleading manner.

While agencies such as PAAO offer training, testing, and certification in aircraft appraisals, USPAP is not an agency that trains individuals in aircraft appraisals or otherwise awards aircraft appraisal certifications.

Instead, USPAP addresses ethical and performance obligations while providing stringent guidelines and requirements for highly experienced Aircraft Appraisers to offer USPAP-endorsed aircraft appraisals. South America, Europe, and Asia have accepted USPAP as the standard of practice for their membership.

In comparison, OTAS provides Compliant Aircraft appraisals with Real-Time market results.
